In the first half of 2021, provincial satellite TV channels recorded the highest viewership rating at 31.9 percent in China. National TV channels fell to the third place with 23.7 percent. Hunan Television and Zhejiang Television are among the most well-known provincial TV stations in China, especially popular among younger generations with their variety shows.
