Around 55 percent of surveyed consumers in Hong Kong declared that they browse price comparison websites when researching a product, 54 percent browsed the product details on the brand website, and 52 percent used Google or Baidu to find product information. Only 13 percent of consumers looked out for celebrity endorsements.
Leading research habits of consumers in Hong Kong in 2019
Participants in this survey were from the Greater Bay Area in Mainland China and Hong Kong. This statistic only looks at the Hong Kong side of respondents. Since the Methodology illustrates that respondents were almost even split between the two regions, the number of respondents for this statistics is around 750.
