Approximately 40 percent of e-commerce users surveyed in Mexico in 2019 said they had abandoned an online shopping cart because the shipping cost was too high. Likewise, 36 percent of respondents stated that they had discontinued a purchase via internet because the shipping would have taken too long or the delivery time was not specified.
