Discussions on sustainability in the fashion brand are rising and consumers' positive attitude towards sustainable and ethical behavior is becoming more popular. According to a survey from 2020 by Ipsos, Italian respondents did not necessarily associate luxury with sustainability. Indeed, 41 percent of interviewees strongly or somewhat disagreed that luxury brands demonstrate more environmental respect than other brands.
A survey analyzing sustainable behaviors of Italian consumer shows that the main eco-friendly elements taken into consideration were the sustainability of fabrics and materials.
