As of March 2020, the topic that saw the biggest decrease in growth on Instagram in the United Kingdom (UK) was hotels. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the topic has shrunk by 57 percent. Other unpopular topics were parties, vape, fashion design, and nails.
