Popular types of online gaming purchases in China 2022
Rakuten Insight in April 2022, 47 percent of Chinese online gamers purchased in-games items and virtual goods, such as skins and avatars, in the six months prior to the survey period. Compared to their female counterparts, Chinese male gamers were more likely to buy the game. The same survey found that over one-third of Chinese gamers played online games every day.
According to a survey on online gaming conducted by
