Almost 60 percent of the respondents who knew about meal kits have tried them before, according to a survey conducted among South Korean consumers in September 2020. A previous question asked about the familiarity with meal kits, to which more than 84 percent of respondents replied that they are familiar with the concept.

The survey was conducted among 153 men in single person households as well as 1,147 women in households of all sizes who buy groceries at least once a month. *This question was only asked among respondents that stated that they know about meal kits, which were around 84.3 percent of total respondents.
