According to a study held in March 2020, 53 percent of Hispanic adults in the United States said that they were much more or somewhat more likely to watch movies via a streaming service due to the coronavirus outbreak, along with 54 percent of African American respondents. By comparison, the share of total adults who said they were more inclined to stream movies during the pandemic amounted to 43 percent. White adults were the least likely to increase their video streaming consumption time, and just 38 percent said that they would watch more online television during the pandemic.
