French people who prefer to pay with cash by type of service 2020
This statistic shows the share of French people who prefer to use cash for payment as of January 2020, by type of service. At that time, 68 percent of French people stated that they preferred to pay cash when going to the bakery and 66 percent preferred to pay cash when going to the market. In contrast, eight percent of the respomdents stated that they preferred to pay cash when going to the restaurant.
