According to a 2019 survey from IPSOS, 39 percent of respondents in the Untied States said that women being represented in government and politics is one of the areas to focus on the most as regards progress towards achieving gender equality over the next 25 years. In comparison, six percent of respondents said that there is no need to achieve gender equality.
