As of 2013, a study was conducted on food consumption habits in Germany. It emerged that Germans tended to eat high quantities of milk and eggs throughout the day (742.19 grams). The consumption of fish and seafood, insead, was not found to be very popular as of the period considered. Surprisingly, the consumption of alcoholic beverages in Germany was much higher than cereals and vegetables consumption.
