During a study carried out among internet users in Brazil in 2023, approximately 91 percent of respondents aged between 16 and 24 years said they listened to music online. Among interviewees aged 45 and older, the share stood at or below 60 percent. The same study showed that more male than female internet users in Brazil turned to music streaming in 2023.
