As of the first quarter of 2021, the content platform amassed around 4.2 million publisher accounts, indicating a year-over-year growth of 42 percent. Some of the major publishers on Baijiahao are the prominent news media in China, such as People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and CCTV. The content published on Baijiahao can be directed to Baidu's newsfeed and search results.
