This statistic displays the volume of fresh vegetables that was sold in Swiss retail trade between 2016 and 2019, by vegetable group. During these years, there was an overall incline in the volume of fresh vegetables being sold in Switzerland, with all nine vegetable groups seeing a higher sales volume in 2019 than was recorded in 2016. Edible mushrooms were the only group which recorded an increase in sales over this period, growing from a volume of 6.5 million kilograms in 2016 to a volume of 7.7 million kilograms in 2019.
