As of June 2018, the value of current accounts at Italian bank UBI Banca amounted to approximately 67 billion euros. This figure increased steadily since June 2016, when it started at 49.1 billion euros.
On 10 May 2017, UBI Banca acquired Nuova Banca delle Marche, Nuova Banca dell'Etruria e del Lazio and Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti, which were merged into UBI Banca.
UBI Banca appeared among the leading banks in terms of current accounts' value in Italy. The ranking was dominated by Intesa Sanpaolo.
