During the period surveyed, 76.7 percent of the respondents stated that discount is their most favorite promotional program offered by a digital wallet platform. Financial technology (fintech) usage has experienced a significant increase over the past few years. The Indonesian government even introduced a program called "Gerakan Nasional Non-Tunai" (GNNT) which can be translated to Non-cash National Movement in August 2014. Among others, this movement has pushed Indonesians to use more digital wallet platforms.
