According to Milward Brown's BrandZ China Top 100 ranking in 2020, the traditional Chinese medicine brand Yunnan Baiyao was estimated to have a brand value of 2.95 billion U.S. dollars, followed by a long-established brand Tong Ren Tang with almost 1.6 billion U.S. dollars. The Chinese government has applied reforms in the healthcare system and policies to promote traditional Chinese medicine.
