According to a report by Parrot Analytics, Netflix was the most in-demand platform for drama digital originals in Taiwan, accounting for 59.8 percent of the market demand share. Compared with other countries analyzed in the report, CBS All Access's original dramas were more appealing to Taiwanese audiences.

The source defines a “digital original series” as a multi-episode series where the most recent season was produced or first made available on a streaming platform. Once a title is defined as a digital original, the original streaming platform is regarded to be the same in all markets. For example, The Handmaid’s Tale is considered a Hulu digital original, in all markets, even if Hulu is not currently available in a given territory.
