According to the report from Parrot Analytics, Netflix was the most popular original platform, accounting for 57.9 percent of demand share of the digital originals in Taiwan. Compared with other countries analyzed in the report, CBS All Access and DC Universe accounted for a higher share in the market.

The source defines a “digital original series” as a multi-episode series where the most recent season was produced or first made available on a streaming platform. Once a title is defined as a digital original, the original streaming platform is regarded to be the same in all markets. For example, The Handmaid’s Tale is considered a Hulu digital original, in all markets, even if Hulu is not currently available in a given territory.
