In 2018, around 40.3 percent of mobile users in China preferred to use the third-party Android store 360 Mobile Assistant, followed by app stores backed by Tencent, Baidu, and Alibaba. As the Google Play Store is not available in China, various Android stores have been developed, resulting in a fragmented app store landscape.
