In 2023, 41 percent of Spaniards between the ages of 18 and 24 identified themselves as left-wing. In contrast, 53 percent of those aged 55 to 64 considered themselves to be in this area of the political spectrum, making this the age group with more left-wing supporters.

Respondents were asked to determine their political orientation from 0 to 10, where 0 is "totally left-wing" and 10 is "totally right-wing". The ranges considered as left-wing were those from 0 to 4.
