China's out-of-home advertising spending was generated in transit areas, such as airports, rail or subways, buses, and taxis. Other formats included 16 percent on the place-based ad media like that in the cinemas or at stadiums, 13 percent on billboards, and six percent on bus benches or other street furniture. The distribution was projected to remain almost the same until 2023.
