Around 70 percent of South Koreans in their thirties stated that they make use of delivery services whenever they do not feel like cooking themselves. Furthermore, compared to young people between 20 and 39, older respondents named bad weather as one of the most important reason for choosing food delivery service over cooking at home or going out to eat. According to another survey conducted in 2019, fried chicken is the most popular delivery menu among South Korean men and women.
