Reasons for the growing popularity of home beauty among South Koreans 2019
Based on a survey conducted by Embrain, out of one thousand respondents in South Korea around 57.6 percent cited the high costs of dermatological clinics and spas as the main reason for their preference of using home beauty appliances rather than visiting a dermatological clinic in order to receive skin care treatment.
Among 1.500 female respondents between the age of 20 and 49 years, around 71.8 percent named wearing facial masks at home as the most popular skin care routine among women in South Korea.
