Response to remain in own home for old age in India 2018
A majority of Indians feel that it is important to remain in their own homes as they get older as per a 2018 survey aimed at studying the attitudes and preparedness for retirement in the country. Since retirement comes with certain insecurities and uncertainties of old age, it is important to feel confident about the living conditions. Only two percent of the respondents said they did not know where they would like to live during their old age.
