Perception on the future generation of retirees in India 2018
In a survey measuring people's retirement-related attitudes and readiness in India in 2018, about 47 percent of the respondents felt that future generations of retirees would be better off than those currently in retirement. On the other hand, 32 percent of the respondents stated that future retirees would fare about the same as the current situation. Overall, the survey found that Indians had a more positive attitude towards retirement and savings compared to other countries surveyed that year.
