This survey conducted by SNCD with Predictys asked French internet users about targeted commercial e-mails received on their e-mail account, based on their prior Internet browsing, in 2018. Thus, it appears that nearly 80 percent of respondents answered that they found this kind of advertising emails intrusive, whereas about 40 percent of respondents said they thought it was something to be appreciated.
