In 2023/2024, approximately 31 percent of Canadians aged between 20 and 29 stated in our survey on the subject of "Regularly consumed groceries" that they regularly consume candy and chocolate. By comparison, among those participants in the age group between 60 and 64 years, the share of those who regularly consume candy & chocolate was about 45 percent.
