When surveyed between July 2021 and June 2022, some nine percent of female respondents stated that they follow a gluten-free diet in the United States. This figure increased to 12 percent for male survey respondents.
The original survey question was: "Do you follow one or more of the following nutrition rules?" This statistic shows the share of all who answered "Gluten-free".
