As this infographic shows, despite any potential negative sentiment arising from the Brexit process, Merkel remains popular in the UK where she is one of only three major world leaders to have a net favourable score in a new survey by YouGov. The research, conducted this summer, put United States President Biden at the top of the popularity list, with his Russian and Chinese counterparts Putin and Xi Jinping the least popular in the survey.
