In a ranking of Asia’s fine dining hotspots, a Tokyo restaurant took the top prize this year. Sézanne, which combines a neo-French style with local ingredients, was awarded the title of Asia’s Best Restaurant in a Best 50 ranking by business magazine William Reed.
Japan was the country most prominently featured in this year’s top ten roundup, with three dining spots in the capital of Tokyo making it onto the list and one restaurant, La Cime, in Osaka in rank 9. Thailand’s capital of Bangkok also performed well, with three top restaurants starring there: Gaggan Anand, Nusara and Sühring.
