Despite the mounting concerns and increasing attacks, many cybersecurity jobs go unfilled with the demand for qualified worker outpacing the supply of them. The Supply-Demand ratio is almost three times lower for the cybersecurity field as it is for the national average, with a lower ratio indicating a shortage of workers. States with the highest ratio for cybersecurity workers include Alabama, Delaware, and Colorado.
