Mohamed Salah is having an incredible season. The Liverpool and Egyptian forward is the Premier League's leading scorer, hitting the back of the net 24 times in the current campaign. He joined Liverpool in a club-record £36.9 million transfer from Roma last June and his market value has skyrocketed £66.4m over the past six months, according to the CIES Football Observatory.
In this particular ranking, you can forget about your Messis and your Neymars of this world. The Premier League dominates the list of the biggest transfer value rises in Europe with six out of the top-ten players plying their trade in England. Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is in second place with his value going up by £66.1m. His teammates Leroy Sané and Gabriel Jesus are also present in the ranking while PSG star Kylian Mbappé has also seen his value go up by an impressive £48.6 million.
