Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook. All count among some of the biggest companies in the world, and all can be described as tech companies. Combined, they turned over almost $650 billion last year, but although they are in the same broad industry, their main revenue sources are rather different. This infographic is based on data found in the Statista's new Digital Economy Compass 2018 and shows where these tech giants get their money. One aspect of note is the company most reliant on one part of its business - Facebook generates 98 percent of its revenue from advertising alone.
