Americans Most Worried About Data Security on Social Media
Data Security
We're spreading our personal data online everywhere: From social networks, to online shops and increasingly when engaging with government services. Many Americans (47 percent) are very worried about their data on social media. This is probably also due to the fact that the amount of personal data shared on social media is biggest. Online shops are trusted more (37 percent) and – warranted or not - government agencies enjoy the most trust of the three types of organizations. The results are taken from our comprehensive "Statista Survey Advertising & Privacy 2017".
