Home internet access in the U.S. 2024, by type and gender

According to a survey conducted in the United States between 2023 and 2024, nearly four in ten male respondents had internet access at home via a broadband connection. The share of female respondents using broadband connection at home was almost the same, 36 percent. Mobile connection via smartphone or tablet was the second-most popular way of accessing the internet, being common for 30 percent of women and 30 percent of men during the research period.
