Parents thinking HPV vaccine is recommended and free in Italy in 2024, by recipients
A survey conducted in 2024 investigated the level of knowledge of parents about which category of recipients was recommended to get the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in Italy. According to the data, 34 percent of respondents believed that the vaccination was recommended and free of charge for 12 years old boys and girls, while 14 percent of parents thought that the vaccine against papillomavirus was indicated only for 12 years old girls.
