Latin America and the Caribbean: organic farmland area 2022, by country
In 2022, Argentina was the Latin American country with the largest organic farmland area in the region, with over 4.064 million hectares. The country was followed by Uruguay and Brazil with 2.74 million and 996 thousand hectares of organic agricultural area, respectively. That year, organic farmland in the region amounted to more than nine million hectares.
