Online news consumption changes if news is restricted in Canada 2023, by age group
Should news be restricted on some aggregators and platforms, most Canadians aged 55 years or above - 54 percent - would turn to television news instead, and 21 percent would go to a print publication for news. Interestingly, the same share of those aged 18 to 34 years also said they would get news from a print source, despite younger generations generally preferring to access news online.
