According to the forecast, the number of electric vehicle sales in Vietnam was expected to reach 65 thousand units by the end of 2032, over a threefold surge compared to 2023. The Vietnamese government has been encouraging the usage of electric cars by imposing a lower import tax and registration fees compared to gasoline-based vehicles.
