Change in fraud prevention budget for e-merchants worldwide 2023, by country
A survey asked online merchants about their plans to change their fraud prevention budget in 2023. Worldwide, three-quarters of the respondents expressed their intention to increase this budget to some extent. In Australia, almost nine out of ten e-merchants planned to increase their spending on preventing fraudulent activity. However, Mexico stood out as the country with the greatest expectation of decreasing its fraud budget among those included in the study.
