Frequency of AVOD usage in the UK 2022
Ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) services were used daily by about 40 percent of connected TV viewers in the United Kingdom, according to a consumer insight from FreeWheel in collaboration with Happydemics: ‘Connected Viewers, All eyes on Streaming’, March 2022. This demonsts the prevalence of this type of streaming platform for consumers. In comparison, less than 30 person of UK consumers reported using AVOD services less than once per week.
