According to a survey conducted in April 2021, slightly more than half of the workers in Italy undertook some type of formal job training over the previous year. There are various reasons why many people do not take the chance to improve or change their professional life by learning new skills. About 31 percent of the respondents complained about the lack of efficient courses, aiming at teaching actually useful skills. Another 29 percent highlighted the difficulty in finding time to allocate to job trainings and the high costs demanded by the best courses.
