Largest football stadiums in South America 2020, by capacity
Peru's capital city Lima is home to the soccer stadium with the largest audience capacity in South America in 2020, with the possibility to welcome over 80 thousand football fans. The second and third largest soccer stadiums in the region are located in Brazil – Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro and Mané Garrincha in the country's capital, Brasília. Both can host over 70 thousand attendees. In total, Brazil was home to six out of the ten largest football stadiums in South America.
