Share of female candidates in the parliamentary elections in Norway 2005-2021

In 2021, the share of female candidates in the parliamentary election in Norway decreased slightly from 2017. In 2021, just below 40 percent of the candidates were women. The share of women selected for the Norwegian parliament in the same election was slightly higher, at 45.6 percent. The Red Party had the highest share of female candidates in the 2021 election.
