Production and consumption
Monthly consumption of fruit and vegetable juice has been mostly on an upward trend since 2013. In 2022, the average person in Poland drank about 1.08 liters of juices. Despite this, the production volume of juice still fluctuated in recent years, having reached more than 10.2 million hectoliters in 2023. In terms of mineral and sparkling water production, unsweetened and non-flavored products have dominated the Polish market.The favorite brands of juices, nectars, and soft drinks in Poland were Tymbark, Żywiec Zdrój and Cisowianka. Water is essential for the proper functioning of the body. On average, Poles consumed more than 5.7 liters of mineral water per month, a noticeable increase of almost 4.7 liters per month compared to 2000. The value of bottled water imports fluctuated over the years, having reached a record high of 9.55 million U.S. dollars in 2023.

Polish coffee export value fluctuated in recent years. The Netherlands, Ukraine, and Germany were the main export markets for coffee produced in Poland. In terms of Polish tea, French consumers enjoyed it the most; in 2023 France accounted for 16.1 percent of Poland's tea export share. As for Poles, they favor Sri Lanka's tea products. In 2023, Poland imported tea products worth 25 million U.S. dollars from Sri Lanka.Since 2010, the fruit and vegetable juice import value has fluctuated. The majority of the export value was generated on the German market. The neighboring country imported Polish juices worth over 275 million U.S. dollars in 2022.
