Sex in Spain - statistics & facts
In Spain, the population had an average of 7.66 sexual encounters per month, with La Rioja being the autonomous region with the highest average, namely 11.25 sexual acts. For nearly 45 percent of the inhabitants of this country, sexual activity tends to last between 5 and 15 minutes. However, the average monthly sexual activity does not stop Spaniards from masturbating, with figures revealing that almost everyone in Spain masturbates: more than 20 percent across all age groups do it at least once a week.
