The Company’s periodicals portfolio comprises of such titles as Settimanale Di Piu, Di Piu Tv, Airone, Bell'Italia and For Men Magazine, among others. Cairo covered about 19.2 percent of the magazine market share in the first half of 2016. The revenue deriving from Cairo's magazines was 47.9 million euros over the same period of time.
Through the advertising sector, Cairo Communication is active in multimedia advertising brokerage, including sale of advertising time and space on television, in print media and in stadiums. In the first half of 2016, the advertising sector of Cairo registered about 76.4 million euros.
The Company also operates an internet portal through its own search engine, Il Trovatore. With a production cost of about 422 thousand euros in the first half of 2016, the search engine registered a revenue of 497 thousand euros over the same period of time.
The TV publishing segment is involved in TV publishing on digital terrestrial platforms. La7 is the private television channel owned by Cairo Communication, after being purchased in 2013 from Telecom Italia Media S.p.A. . In 2015, the channel had a daily viewership of about 315.2 thousand individuals, which accounts for about 3.55 percent of the Italian television daily share.
