In the global footwear market, a nearly 500 billion U.S. dollar industry, Brazil, a Latin American country, ranks among the top five countries. In terms of revenue, the world’s largest economies such as China, the United States, India and the United Kingdom are the leading markets for footwear. In the overall Latin America region, the revenue of the footwear market amounted to 42.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2024. Over the next years, the market growth is projected to be stable around two percent.
Among Brazil’s leading partners for footwear exports are the neighboring Argentina, as well as global markets such as the U.S., France, and Germany.
