South Korea is gaining an appetite for everyday sports. In 2024, the life expectancy at birth was forecast to exceed 80 years regardless of gender. Coupled with the nation’s economic status as a developed country, South Koreans are becoming more conscious about their physical health. Moreover, the prevalence of processed food and delivery services has contributed to a steadily increasing obesity rate, fueling efforts to lead a more active lifestyle.
